About Us

Opartheeb’s music is a rich tapestry of Symphonic Rock and Metal, deeply rooted in their Bengali heritage. The band’s compositions are known for their intricate melodies and powerful orchestral arrangements, which reflect their diverse musical influences and backgrounds. Their lyrics often explore themes of identity, self-discovery, and the profound connection with their cultural roots.

 

The band was formed in 2008 as a quest for self-discovery amongst friends, which ultimately led them to creating music together. The band consists of Syed Adnan Ali (কিরণ) on drums, Salehin Chowdhury (উচ্ছাস) on vocals, guitar, and lyrics, Asfin Haider (দিশা) on vocals, Aad-Yean Faisal (পূর্ণ ) on keyboards, and Ahsan Ali (জীবন) on bass and guitar. The band members, each with their unique musical journey, have come together to create a sound that is both modern and traditional. They blend the intensity of metal with the grandeur of symphonic elements, creating a sound that is both commanding and emotive. The band’s dedication to their craft is evident in their meticulous approach to songwriting and production, ensuring that each piece of music is not just heard but felt by their audience.

Building on their symphonic metal legacy, Opartheeb is set to release their much-anticipated album “Abcha Neel Kona”. This album represents a culmination of their musical evolution, with five singles already setting the stage for a full release expected before summer 2024. The album is being crafted under the guidance of legendary Sazzad Arefeen, whose expertise is elevating the band’s sound to new heights.
